Apparently this man snuck onto Miramar High School's property, while being naked, and caused over a hundred thousand dollars in damages. His biggest target was destroying TV's and Computers. It is said that the damage will definitely affect students.
The problem lies in a lack of security. There should be a surveillance team there during the day and the night, to ensure that no one trespasses onto property and destroys anything valuable.
Miramar High School is the entity that has the problem right now. They are the party that currently has the damage done to their end.
2. It’s not over yet. South Florida could see a new round of storms and flooding
https://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/article242993376.html
Miami and County Dade have seen a lot of overflowing lakes, canals, and pools in the area. This is because of the three straight days of heavy rain. Some people are even saying that their cars are floating in the street, because of the water rise. Others, have just lost electricity.
The problem lies in lack of preparation. There needs to be more sandbags, blockages, helpful warnings. All of these help people prepare better for natural disasters like this. If people sandbag their homes, there's a better chance they won't get flooded.
South Florida homeowners and business owners are the people experiencing the problem right now and are most at risk.
3. Water main break because of heavy rains leads to boil water notice in Hallandale Beach
https://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/community/broward/article243007841.html
Due to the very heavy rains, there was a malfunction with some of the pipes carrying water to the Hallandale Beach area. This has caused a massive warning to all homeowners that they should boil all of their water before drinking or using it. This therefore will get rid of any bacteria or pathogens that could potentially harm them.
The problem is caused by old pipes and outdated infrastructure. We need microgrid water supplies rather than large pipes still carrying our water from far away. It is up to the local government to make this decision, but oftentimes the funding is the biggest issue.
South Florida homeowners and the local government are most at risk right now, and have to deal with this extra responsibility at this time.
4. Another 138 tons of frozen food recalled after customers found rocks in the entrees
https://www.miamiherald.com/living/food-drink/article242957811.html
Yet again, there is another recall of a popular brand of frozen food. There have been many complaints to the FDA, that there are small rocks in these frozen food packages. It is unknown whether the chickens involved ate the small rocks, or the small rocks just got into the packaging, but either way, many of these packages have been recalled.
The problem is not enough double checking by food manufacturers. There should be a solid inspection of every single package before it is sent out into the real world. If it isn't there is a chance that something dangerous could happen, like someone swallowing the rocks and getting sick.
Everyone who eats and buys this brand's food is at risk, and that is why the recall is currently happening.
5. Trump Jr. says social media giants that discriminate against conservatives should lose government protections
http://www.sfltimes.com/news/video-trump-jr-says-social-media-giants-that-discriminate-against-conservatives-should-lose-government-protections
In this article, it explains how Trump Jr. does not agree with how Twitter is handling the fact check that Twitter put on Donald Trump's tweets. He believes they are interfering with the election and there is political bias involved. Donald Trump has threatened to serve an order to social media companies to tale care of what he sees as a problem.
The problem is the lack of clear lines in terms of social media that define political bias. Social media companies have been in hot water in the past, due to the fact that they have not censored false information, so some could see this as a step moving forward, while others see it as a violation of free speech. There needs to be clear, linguistic rules in terms of free speech on social media platforms.
Everyone who is on social media has this same issue, but this current article mostly relates just to the President of the United States.
